Hyperlink Cannot Download The Information You Requested Macro
Hi All,
I get this error when trying to open a hyperlink from MS Excel: 'Cannot download the information you requested' I know why this is happening but not too sure how to fix it. What I've found is that if the website that i've linked to requires a login username and password, I get this error when trying to access this protected page. However, if I log in to the site via Internet Explorer (the browser that MS Excel uses to open my Hyperlinks - Not my default browser (i use Firefox and Chrome)) and then click on the hyperlink, it then works with no problems. The issue i'm having is that on a different PC I try do the same thing but it just doesnt work, even if I first log in to all the internet browsers installed on that PC. I've tried setting IE as the default browser but still doesnt help. Does anyone know the reason for this and how to fix it? Thanks! Comments are closed.
